Theres a great choice of houses for sale across the UK and while prices remain low, or are even falling marginally, there does seem to be some movement in the housing market. House sales rose by 21% from May to June with some 86,000 sold, which suggests that a number of people are on the move.
However, sales are still running well below the levels preceding the onset of the credit crunch and one of the reasons behind this is because of a shortage of mortgage finance. Until recently, there was also shortage of property available but it now seems more vendors are now putting up the for sale signs.
